Signing Time has a great American Sign Language (ASL) dictionary for children and adults who are learning or interested in ASL. There are more resources on their website.

The importance of having a village. 

Finding other parents who are facing or have faced similar challenges or situations, many feel better able to navigate different avenues and resources after being part of a parent group.

Now, it is not as hard to find supportive parent groups online. There are various sources, including nonprofit organizations, Facebook pages, Meetup groups, and local listservs. Parents you connect with can often lead you to other groups until you find the right fit.
